Kuban State Medical university


On 4 July 1920 the Kuban-Black Sea Revolutionary Committee issued a decree opening in Kuban a state university with three faculties: Medical, Natural Science and Socio-historic.
On 5 September 1920 the official opening ceremony of Kuban State University took place in the presence of the Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee, Y. Poluyan. It was opened in place of the prior Diecesan Women's School of Yekaterinodar (currently Krasnodar).
In 1921 Kuban State University was reformed. The Medical Faculty became Kuban Medical Institute and the other two faculties were adnexed to the Institute of People's Education, Polytechnic Institute and Pedagogic Institute. Kuban State University was reopened later in 1970 without the medical faculty..
In 1992 The Faculty of Higher Nurses Education was opened at Kuban Medical Institute which became later in 1997 the Municipal Medical Institute of Higher Nurses Education and went out of the structure of kuban Medical University.
In 1993 a branch of Medical Faculty of Kuban Medical University was opened in Maikop, Capital of the Republic of Adigea in south Russia.
In 1998 Two more faculties were opened at Kuban Medical University: Medico-prophylactic and Pharmacy.
In 2005 Kuban State Medical Academy was accredited the "university" status.


Belgorod State University


The history of our University is closely connected with the history of pedagogic education in Russia. The reforms of 1860s promoted the speeding-up of economy, trade and military science development and brought about the increase of educational establishments. Since 1872 special educational institutions – teaching institutes – were established
On September 26, 1876 in a district town Belgorod the Teacher's Training Institute - the ninth one in Russia - was founded by the order of the Ministry of Public Education. Since that time the difficult but interesting way of our University has begun.       
In 2010 the State University (“BelSU”) was the only academic institution of the Belgorod region, as well as of the Central Federal District (except universities of the capital of Russia), to be granted the “National Research University” status (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No.812-r of May 20, 2010).
In 2011, on the basis of changing of the existent type of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Belgorod State University”, the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Belgorod State National Research University”(the National Research University “BelSU”) was founded (Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No.129 of February 1, 2011).

The Russian Federation is a founder of the National Research University “BelSU. Powers and authority of the founder of the University are exercised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Novosibirsk State Medical University


Novosibirsk State Medical Academy (NSMA) (Russian: Новосибирский государственный медицинский университет, НГМУ) - a medical academy in Novosibirsk, Russia for training qualified doctors.
It was organized in 1935 when the medical faculty was opened. Until 1999 it was known as the Novosibirsk medical institute. From 2005 it is the Novosibirsk medical academy. From 1996 to 2007 the institute was headed by prof. A. V. Efremov. The academy's rector from February 21, 2008 is prof. Marinkin I.O.

At NSMA the following institutes and centers function: the medical advisory center, institute of cosmetology, institute of internal medicine, advice of independent medical experts, the certified center, the central certifying commission in SFO, the international center, the district center of protection of motherhood and the childhood, a sports camp, publishing house Sibmedizdat ("Сибмедиздат"), a video studio Avitsenna ("Авиценна") and others. Also, a newspaper and "Magazine of clinical and experimental medicine" is issued.

Tula State University


Tula State University (TSU) (Russian: Ту́льский госуда́рственный университе́т, ТулГУ) is the biggest state university in Tula, Central Russia. Since May 2006 its rector is Mikhail Gryazev, professor, doctor of technical sciences. More than 20,000 students, 400 post graduates, and 600 foreign students from 30 countries study at Tula State University. The university consists of nine faculties (colleges), a medical institute, a center of pre-university studies, a regional center for professional development, and 73 departments (chairs).
            TSU has more than 150 study programs in defense, technology, mining construction,  computer science, economics, law, humanities and medicine. There are more than 1,200   faculty members, among them 278 full doctors of sciences, professors and 742 candidates   of sciences, associate professors. The total number of university staff is 2,400.

TSU provides full-time and part-time education, distance education and education by correspondence.

The Peoples' Friendship University


The Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Russian: Российский университет дружбы народов, РУДН) is an educational and research institution located in southern Moscow. It is ranked by the Ministry of Education of Russia as the country's third-best university after Moscow State University and Saint Petersburg State University.[1] The institution was founded in 1960 as the Peoples' Friendship University (Russian: Университет дружбы народов им. Патриса Лумумбы). Its stated objective during the height of the Cold War was to help developing nations, mainly in Asia, Africa and South America, by providing higher education and professional training. Many students from developed countries also attended the university.

Irkutsk State Medical University


Irkutsk is a large scientific and educational center, where more than 100 thousand students are studying. There are 23 universities in Irkutsk. Irkutsk is home to the East Siberian Education Academy (since 1909), Irkutsk State University, Irkutsk State Medical University, Baykalsky State University of Economics and Law (since 1932), Irkutsk State Technical University, Irkutsk State Academy of Agriculture, Irkutsk State Linguistic University, Irkutsk State Railway Transport University and others. Students can get education in more than 260 specialties, including economics, law, art, agriculture and medicine.

Siberian State Medical University



The Siberian State Medical University is a medical school in Tomsk, Russia. Previously, it was called the Tomsk Medical Institute. Founded in 1878 as the Faculty of Medicine of the Imperial Tomsk University, opened in 1888, this is one of Russia's oldest medical schools. The school is also the oldest medical school east of the Urals. The current Acting Rector is Olga Kobyakova. In a 2003 rating of the 100 best Russian universities by the magazine "Career Formula", the school was rated third out of all medical schools in Russia. A rating of universities by the Russian Ministry of Higher Education rated the school second among all Russian medical schools.

Tver State Medical University


TTSMA is one of the oldest and leading educational institutions in Russia. Today it is a large research, scientific and educational center. The history of the Tver State Medical Academy opens up in 1902 when courses for dental students were arranged. In 1936 the Leningrad Dental Institute was founded. In 1954 by decision of the Soviet government the Institute was transferred from Leningrad to the city of Kalinin. 
In 1986 the Institute was awarded the prestigious Nations Friendship National Award for outstanding contribution to international education, collaboration and development. In 1994 after renaming of Kalinin to Tver, the Institute was also renamed and got the status of the Academy.
